Writing and Media
A keen food and travel writer, as well asan ambassador for the independents, Matt is also a freelance food and travel writer and a member of the Guild of Food Writers, focusing on the hidden cultural gems and people that make the places he visits so unique and inspiring.
In early 2020 Matt also launched the food podcast IN THE WEEDS, which has seen some fantastic guests from the industry come on and discuss their journey. Take a look at the journal which includes all his publicised articles.
Charity Work
A survivor of Meningitis in his teens, nearly costing him his life, Matt has become a strong advocate in raising awareness for the disease and participates in events to raise awareness for Meningitis Research including the NYC Marathon 2019 and coming up the The Great North Run 2021.
